    You know those weeks where life gets busy, dinner’s an afterthought, and the fridge feels more like a puzzle than a plan?

    Yeah, we’ve had those too.

    In fact, Delicious & Done™ was born out of one of our hardest weeks.

    Our daughter was hospitalised with RSV at just six weeks old. We were splitting time between the hospital, home, work and our son… and dinner was the last thing we had energy for.

    We realised that what we really needed wasn’t another takeaway bill or a complicated recipe kit – it was meals that are warm, decent & easy.

    Something that felt like home-cooked food, without the mess or mental load.

    So, we got cooking.

  • We're a Northland family with 20 years in the food preparation industry.

    We saw a gap for hearty, ready-to-eat meals that could feed a family or couple, taste like real food, and still respect the budget.

    We started experimenting, sent out over 200 test meals to households just like yours, and the response was loud and clear:

    Today, we’re proud to cook every batch here in Whangārei using honest ingredients & family-tested recipes.

    We portion meals for both smaller households (1–2, our ‘duo size’) and bigger ones (4–5, our ‘family size’), and snap-freeze them so you’ve got real & delicious food on hand, ready for when life gets full.

    We’re not a big corporate. We’re not here to dress up small portions in fancy packaging or charge restaurant prices for home dinners.

    What we are is practical, purpose-driven & deeply proud of what we serve.

    Some of our trays are larger. Our prices are sharper. Our meals are built for leftovers, seconds, & late-night snacks.

    And every one of them gets sent out knowing it’s landing in someone’s freezer at a moment when they need a break, not more decisions.

    This isn’t just about food. It’s about feeling like you’ve got it covered. Even on the tough days.
