Shipping Policy

Delicious & Done delivers frozen ready meals throughout New Zealand, including residential addresses, business addresses and most Rural Delivery addresses.

Our meals are cooked in Whangārei, snap-frozen, packed with ice packs and eco wool insulation, then sent through the NZ Post network to your chosen delivery address.

Delivery timeframes

Most orders are delivered overnight once dispatched. Rural Delivery addresses and some regional areas may take up to 2 working days.

Delivery timeframes can be affected by courier delays, severe weather, public holidays, rural delivery schedules and other events outside our control.

Dispatch days

We dispatch all orders — including Rural Delivery and South Island addresses — Monday to Thursday.

We do not send orders Friday to Sunday, so your frozen meals are never held in the courier network over a weekend. Orders received Friday–Sunday will ship on Monday.

Dispatch may be adjusted around public holidays or courier closures.

Choosing a delivery day

You can choose a delivery date at checkout — just add your preferred date in the comments field. This is useful if you are planning your meals, stocking the freezer, sending a gift, or ordering for someone else.

Sending meals to someone else

You can order Delicious & Done meals for a friend, family member, new parent, older relative, or anyone who could use easy meals in the freezer. Simply enter their delivery address at checkout. Want to add a note? Simply add it to the comments at checkout.

Do I need to be home?

No. You do not need to be home when your order arrives.

Your meals are packed frozen with ice packs and eco wool insulation, so the box can be left safely at your doorstep, workplace or chosen delivery address during the day. We recommend bringing the box inside and placing the meals into the freezer as soon as practical after delivery.

Delivery notifications

You will receive email notifications when your order is picked up, when it is out for delivery, and once it has been delivered.

When your order arrives

Place your meals straight into the freezer when they arrive. Keep meals frozen until you are ready to thaw, heat and eat.

Shipping rates

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order details:

• Northland: from $16.99 (standard) / from $19.99 (rural)
• Auckland: from $16.99 (standard) / from $19.99 (rural)
• Rest of North Island: from $18.99 (standard) / from $23.99 (rural)
• South Island: from $44.99

You'll always see your exact delivery cost at checkout before you pay.

 

Pick up from us in Whangarei

You can collect your order from our kitchen instead of having it delivered. Just choose Pickup at checkout. There is no charge for pickup.

Orders are ready the day after you order. If you need it the same day, email us and we will see what we can do. We will send you an email as soon as your order is ready to collect.

Collect from: 50 Kioreroa Road, Whangārei. We are behind the Pantry Cafe, under the concrete ramp. Look for the green door with Weaver Food Group on it.

Pickup hours: 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
