Shipping Policy

Delicious & Done delivers frozen ready meals throughout New Zealand, including residential addresses, business addresses and most Rural Delivery addresses. 

Our meals are cooked in Whangārei, snap-frozen, packed with ice packs and eco wool insulation, then sent through the NZ Post network to your chosen delivery address.

Delivery timeframes

Most orders are delivered overnight once dispatched. Rural Delivery addresses and some regional areas may take up to 2 working days.

Delivery timeframes can be affected by courier delays, severe weather, public holidays, rural delivery schedules and other events outside our control.

Dispatch days

We dispatch orders on set days to help ensure frozen meals are not held in the courier network over weekends or public holidays.

• Residential and business addresses: dispatched Monday to Thursday.

• Rural Delivery addresses: dispatched Monday to Wednesday.

• Public holidays: dispatch may be adjusted around public holidays or courier closures.

We do not dispatch if we believe an order is likely to be delayed in transit over a weekend or public holiday.

Choosing a delivery day

You can choose a delivery day ahead of time at checkout. This is useful if you are planning your meals, stocking the freezer, sending a gift, or ordering for someone else.

Sending meals to someone else

You can order Delicious & Done meals for a friend, family member, new parent, older relative, or anyone who could use easy meals in the freezer. Simply enter their delivery address at checkout. Want to add a note? Simply add it to the comments at checkout.

Do I need to be home?

No. You do not need to be home when your order arrives.

Your meals are packed frozen with ice packs and eco wool insulation, so the box can be left safely at your doorstep, workplace or chosen delivery address during the day. We recommend bringing the box inside and placing the meals into the freezer as soon as practical after delivery.

Delivery notifications

You will receive email notifications when your order is picked up, when it is out for delivery, and once it has been delivered.

When your order arrives

Place your meals straight into the freezer when they arrive. Keep meals frozen until you are ready to thaw, heat and eat.

Shipping rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order details. Shipping starts at $14.99

Free Whangārei Central delivery

We offer free delivery to Whangārei Central addresses in postcodes 0110 and 0112.
